eros they run I'm Jim and today we're going to be narrowing our focus yet again to a single

singular episode of television the episode of Closer to the fifth episode of the

miniseries sharp objects on HBO.

Jim what did you think of this episode?

It's it's kind of a little bit of a break

for for sharp objects although I have to say I enjoyed it. I thought it was effectively,

it was interesting because I knew at the end of last episode the Calhoun Day was going to be potentially deadly for some of the young girls around.

I knew that it could potentially be tense between some of the attendees and somewhere along the

middle of that I found myself forgetting it and kind of giving in to Calhoun day and

just sort of enjoying it even though there are terrible things happening left and right.

We'll talk about them.

But somewhere along the way I forgot that and then about the time that the play that the MDMA or the whatever she took

kicked in I started thinking oh no oh no I forgot all about the the potential for really bad things to happen here.

And then it all became very tense suddenly.

So I felt like this was a surprise episode for me and I enjoyed it.

Yeah, this felt like a definite calm before the story episode.

This might be the last time that we get to, that the showrunners get to kind of maneuver everything in the place for what I'm sure is going to be a break net neck neck

break neck pace for the next three episodes and yeah I, I too enjoyed. I am like I don't know how I feel in the

grand scheme of things about two AMMA fake outs in as many episodes.

And you couldn't even get, you couldn't even watch this episode without knowing that Amal was live because she's in the
