It's a weird one.

Dead Ringers is a 1988 film by David Cronenberg and Norman

Snyder that tells a story of Beverly and Elliot Mantle, identical twin gynecologists, and creepy

social misfits, both played by actor Jeremy Irons. The Mantle Twins operated an infertility

clinic in Toronto.

Elliot's a womanizer who seduces his female patients, weirdly passes him along to his brother, Beverly, once he grows tired of them.

The women are totally unaware of this switch, which is more than a bit cringy.

It's rape.

They consented to having sex with one twin and then the other slipped in.

An actress named Claire Nouveau comes to the clinic for infertility treatment and is seduced by Elliot,
