It's common sense with Dan Karlin.

This is supposed to be

less of a show and more of an explanation.

It's like the eighth, maybe ninth time in the last three months

that I've come here to do a program for you folks and, and well, we'll see how

today goes, but none of the other ones made it to the finish line

because I'm having a problem talking about the way things are.

Well, because the way things are defies common sense, right?

I mean, the whole idea of this program is woefully out of step with the

tenor of the times, which has caused a lot of you to write me and say,

that's principally why we need it and more of it.

And where are you?

And you're letting us down and you would think when fascism's taking over,

finally, you know, this person who's talked about freedom and liberty and all

these things for so long would be at the forefront, you would think,

but for me, it's more complicated than that.

And that's part of the problem.

You know, I'm trying to do these programs where, well, okay, let me give you an

example. See, this is going to be disjointed because I have managed to get

through one of these things yet.

So I feel like I just want to say what I want to say and forget about how it's

constructed and repetition and, you know, bad show is a bad showality.
