2:10.4	which would eventually become a film directed by Mike Figgis, whose rewrites were so extensive,
2:17.0	that he would get soul screenplay credit. By the time that movie came out, leaving Las Vegas
2:24.3	director Figgis was the hotter property in Hollywood than Esther Haas. Even before the movie got
2:31.8	made, Esther Haas was starting to fight a narrative that had formed, which was that he was an
2:37.3	overpaid one trick pony who could only deliver variations on a specific brand of sleeves.
2:44.8	Vanity Fair described a scene in Esther Haas's One Night Stand script, which featured, quote,
2:50.9	the hero getting oral sex from someone he's just met, while he's on the phone with his
2:56.2	doting wife and kids, then raping the stranger into ecstatic submission when she tries to leave,
