What's up, guys? Rick here with your preview for this week, Shriner's Children's Open.

This is probably my favorite non-major week of the year. Obviously, this is a home game for me.

TPC Summerlin is the golf course on the tour schedule that I've played the most, that I'm most

familiar with, that is closest to my home. I get my lessons out of TPC Summerlin. So I'm very well aware of what's going

on over there and how this golf course could break down. I've probably seen more shots

hit from a professional level at this golf course than any other golf course in the world.

For me, I think that's very safe to say. So we're going to cover this golf course, this event, and everything

that you need to know for this week with some data, with some logic, with some reason. And we're

going to jump right into it right now. Here's the course key stats page for TPC Summerlin. You'll see this on

my website, Rick Rungood.com. Most, if not, almost everything that you see will be from my

website, Rickrun, good.com. So a couple of things. This is a very easy golf course by professional

golf standards. We've seen them break the cut line record. I think it was like seven or eight

under par through two rounds for the cut. That was a record a couple of years ago.

For the members, this plays as a par 72.

They turn it into a par 71 because they turn number three from a par five into a par four.

So that's why you're seeing it playing just a touch over par because that's normally a par five.

And now it's a little bit of a challenging

par four there are so many scoring opportunities on this golf course especially from holes nine

through 18 if your golfer needs to make five birdies over his last 10 you you are live. I mean, you are going to see

some incredible runs on the back nine and including the ninth hole. So the ninth hole is a par five.

10, 11, 12, fine. They're fine holes. They'll play close to even par. But when you get to 13,

that is a par five that plays a half stroke under par.
