And today we are discussing Silent Hill from 2006, directed by Christoph Gant, written by Roger Avery,

based on the 1999 video game called Silent Hill by Konami, starring Rata

Mitchell, Lori Holden, Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, and Alice Kriege. In this film,

a mother trying to help her adopted daughter takes her to the mysterious ghost town that plagues

her nightmares. If you're new to the show, we're going to talk about the movie spoiler-free for the first

15 or 20 minutes.

After that, we're going to play some transition music and go into spoiler mode where we walk

through the plot in detail and then review the film.

to cover a video game adaptation, not realizing until just before that we recorded this, that

we already have covered one in Five Nights at Freddy's. But that wasn't a video game that I was
