Today I have a more traditional product review episode for you.

And this is one that has been several weeks coming.

I was very excited to purchase my very first simplified planner product a few weeks ago

during their, I guess, signature launch this year.

For those who don't know, Simplified is a brand that

was developed by Emily Lay, who is a designer. Definitely has an amazing eye for color and pattern.

And she is also a mom of three and an author and generally kind of does some speaking and a lot of social media

type content on living a more simplified life. And what I have always found compelling about their

products is the design. When I see them in someone's hand, they look very pretty. They have

really great color palettes. They have a luxurious look to them.

And so lately, my planning style has been to have a separate daily planner and then a more

kind of calendar-esque weekly and monthly planner.

And so I decided it would be fun to try out and review the simplified.

You guys know that I recently was playing with

a day designer that was sent to me by one of the listeners. Thank you so much. And these two planners

are definitely, I don't want to say rivals, but they could probably be considered competitors

in the industry. And I think they're both lovely products in many

ways. So I don't necessarily have a preference for one or the other. But you'll see in this

episode that at the end of the day, I'm not sure either of them is necessarily a perfect fit for me,

even though both of them have many wonderful features. So I guess I don't want to give away
