This is a rhubarb thyme margarita.

And it's adapted from Cider and Rye's website, which I just discovered her.

And she's a lovely website of like old fashioned kind of vintage cocktails made with fresh

ingredients. And it's just lovely. So she has a great Instagram feed. She does. Everything looks pretty.

So she had a recipe where you actually make your own simple syrup with the rhubarb and time.

So it's just rhubarb sugar, time, and water and you cook that all down and then you strain it through some cheesecloth in a strainer.

And then everything that falls through is the simple

syrup and I just put it in a bottle with a sprig of time and that's about it and so then you mix

that with tequila lime juice um quantro orange liqueur or any orange liqueur that you have um and and some lemon yeah and lemon

and so that's there you have it and we just we have ours on the rocks but i'm sure you could do it

frozen as well and it's a very pretty pink color oh and tell everyone what happens to the uh that

leftover stuff that you out of the cheesecloth.
