Once you get into your mid-60s, it's supposed to be the golden years of life.

Post it up in a retirement home, making new friends, drinking diabetic-friendly shakes,

hanging out with people playing bingo, getting tucked in by the nurses.

It's supposed to be a time of relaxation.

Retirement homes are supposed to be like sanctuaries.

They allow the residents to find peace, new hobbies, new friends, and sometimes even new love interest.

There's also something really beautiful about falling in love again late in life.

Movies and TV condition us to think that there's one big love out there, one true love.
