0:05.4	I feel like there was a lot of good popular and mainstream R&B records that came out this year.
0:09.3	A lot of different electronic groups came out this year and delivered great albums.

0:14.2	I just think that for the music industry in 2024, there was sort of like this new rejuvenated feeling that a lot of bands felt,
0:21.9	a lot of record labels felt, and of course us, the journalistic platforms felt. And with those
0:26.1	mainstream releases, there was a lot of celebration around them. People were championing songs
0:30.4	all year. You have your usuals from Kendrick Labar to Tyler, schoolboy Q, you know, Future
0:35.2	and Metro, even Drake dropped material this year.
0:37.9	And while the attention was there, I feel like there was still a large presence and a great, I would say, catalog that was being developed in the underground for every single genre.
0:48.4	And in today's episode, Lou and I want to go through just songs in 2024 that we felt like were slept on, songs that deserve more
0:56.0	celebrations, songs that deserve to make your rotation, and just good recommendations. So with that

1:06.4	year content, and it's not going to stop here. With that being said, on December 29th, we do have our

1:16.4	stream on YouTube and we're going to be revealing the nominations very soon for best rap song,
1:21.9	best rap collaboration, best freestyle. We come up with all kinds of different categories and then
