I have heard this man's voice in my life since I was 12 years old.

I've never met him, and I feel like I sort of know you, but I also feel like you do a very

good job in public for many years of broadcasting of people not knowing you. So I am hoping to

learn a little more. Al Michaels, thank you for making the time for us. Great to be here. You can't

get rid of me. I want to keep you around for a while because I think your career is fascinating,

and I'm also curious the hows and the roots of how you do it so what is your relationship

with the work I think the key thing is passion and people have said to me

obviously at this point of my life aren't you going to retire and I would if I didn't have the passion.

It's real simple.

I think I will know when it's definitely time when I can't do the job.

That's a different thing.

But to me, the whole thing is wanting to be there, loving to be there. As a kid
