We are here because Ron recently had the opportunity to speak with Ed Burns and Jimmy Palmieri, the writers of Doc Wallopur, the new miniseries from Virgin Comics.

You've been co-writing with Ed Burns, Doc Wallabur for Virgin Comics.

How did you get involved in that project?

Well, I think Ed, or either Virgin approach Ed or at a Purge, I'm not sure which one.

And they wanted to, you know, have them work with a comic

book writer. And I guess they showed Ed some different writers' styles or books or something. And,

you know, I want to say I got lucky. And he read some of the monolith books that Justin Gray and I

wrote. And the books took place, a lot of the,

a lot of the percentage of the story took place

in the 1920s in New York and early 30s.

And I think Ed found the right kind of flavor
