with two of my post-opinion colleagues.

Time for the Opinions Roundtable, so let's go to the opinion side

of the Washington Post where we will find Washington Post Associate Editor Ruth Marcus and Washington Post columnist Hugh, Hugh it, Ruth Hugh. Well, on July 12th for the first time ever, we did first look in front of a live audience. The reporters were chief

correspondent Dan Baltz, national reporter Amy Gardner, and national political

reporter Michael Sheriff.

The opinions roundtable featured Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin and contributing

columnist Remesh Pooneru and Jim Garrity.

We talked about so many things, the troubled state of President Biden's re-election

campaign, the confusing polls, Vice President Harris, the upcoming Republican

Convention in Milwaukee, Project 2025, and the role of the media in the

swirl around the president.

So last night, President Biden held his first press conference

in ages at the conclusion of the NATO summit

here in Washington.
