Now, I want to talk to you about something, which I think is kind of profound. I just got back from Christian retreat. I have a sentimental love for the place. I did my honeymoon there. 40 years ago. 39 years ago. It would be 40 years this November. And when I was down there,

just kind of reminiscing on Valentine's Day, I started thinking about the great romance. else. But the Lord said, talk about the great romance. And remember that there is a bride

that makes herself ready in the book of Revelation. There is a company that is within the larger company of the body.

And I know these types of teachings rub people wrong, but it's just because we're weirdly all

hypersensitive about different levels of rewards in the kingdom. But Jesus did say,

Behold, I come quickly and my rewards are with me. And then there's a mysterious verse and

says, hold fast your crown, lest another take it. So I think the Bible talks about these rewards.

And there's a mystery to them.

But somehow this bride makes herself ready.

And I think the characteristic of the bride in the end times is that it's a company with a peculiar devotion to the bride groom.

And the five wise versions, for instance, that made it in at the hour when the

bridegroom called for them, the Bible says that they had oil in their vessels and oil with them.

That's called double portion. So I started teaching and started thinking about this double portion characteristic,

how it shows up in the Bible in unusual places.

A double portion simply means an extra measure was given to the firstborn.

And I began to say there's always grade grades of classification in the Bible.

We want everyone equal, but there's rewards to those that diligently seek him. And the Bible

exhorts us in Hebrews, for instance, to hold faster to your birth. I said hold fast to your crown,

let's another take it. But another charge is to do not be like Esau, who for a single measure,

for a single mess of pottage, sold his birthright and gave up his birthright. And what happens when you give up your
