All righty, we're going to do a lot of working God's word today,

and let me just tell you there are two basic ways to view God's word.

One is like this. What's this? What's this? Not a trick question. It's an implement of sadness. It's a mirror. You look into it. And what is the mirror show? What is the mirror show?

The mirror show's me Mere shows me.

There are times that we need to open God's word

to say, okay, God, what do you have to say about me?

What are you revealing to me?

What are you correcting, instructing, directing in me? There are other times that we

open the Bible. We got to open it like this. What's this? binoculars and through these I see

I see you. I see you. As we open God's word today, we're going to talk a lot about relationships

and I want you to know that when we open the Bible, the first thing is it has to be a mirror.

God, what are you saying to me and about me?

And then it has to be binoculars.

God, what are you saying about them

and my relationship with them?

Otherwise, one of two things happen.

Some of you, it's only and always a mirror.

So you have painful relationships,

and you just keep thinking, what's wrong with me?
