I'm getting out of plane, bright and earlier tomorrow morning, but I wanted to have Jeff

Pons with me today because Jeff is out there doing some actual on the grounds scouting in Florida,

and I wanted to see which prospects have caught his eye. Jeff, it feels like almost a year ago

that like you, me, dan foo were texting about

chanler simpson's defense but that was only in the fall and it feels like so much has happened

since then even though no official minorly games have been played but man i really appreciate

to join me how's uh how's your time been down there in florida spring? Yeah, it's been a blast.

We hit all of, I guess, you could say the West Florida spring breakout games.

So I got five of those.

Got in the last three days plus one day prior to the spring breakout games in the backfields.

So I've seen something like 14 games or something like that

total in six or seven or eight days. So it's been a blast. I've seen a lot of good players,

pretty stacked systems and some memorable moments in some of those games as well. So it's been a

memorable trip and a little

bit shorter than my trip last year where I was out here for like almost three full weeks.

It's a little bit under two, but kind of enough to get the spring breakout plus a full week

of minor league spring training. So Jeff, you were kind enough to send me some names to some guys.

I want to start with Arun Escobar of the Phillies. And I'm really glad that we're going to talk
