It's good to have you back. Dr. Harms has been on with us a handful of times before.

My friends, there's a disclaimer on this episode. We are talking about the North American Martyrs, and we are going to be talking about their martyrdom.

And it is graphic and intense, but a story worth telling. So we will do that. But for those of you out there who are

perhaps listening with kids or are just not in the mood for that kind of thing, it might be best to

switch over. But it is a great story. Okay. Dr. Harms, proceed. Thank you for doing that.

Yes. Dr. Harms, today we are talking about Saints John De Braybuff, St. Isaac Joges, and the North

American Martyrs, which is great. I love them. You love them. Where should we begin?

So the North American Martyrs is a group of eight Jesuit missionaries, six priests and two

lay oblites who were tortured and killed over a seven-year period in the 17th century.

So from 1642 to 1649 in the area of what today is upper New York State and Ontario.

Okay.

And for those of you who are perhaps in that area, there is a shrine in upstate New York

where you can go visit, which is highly recommended.

Yeah, I think I've been there.

It's awesome.
