We have another exciting saint to dive into today.

I love the series because we're just going to learn about so many different saints, so many different types of personalities, and so many different ways people have witnessed the love of Christ and

the beauty of our church. So thank you for continuing to edivimee and teach me about more

saints. Who would you like to talk about today?

Surprise, surprise. It's another martyr and from the the same century, I'd hardly do, around the

four century.

Wonderful.

Marcellus of Tangier or Tangiers. It's a city in Morocco, so I'm not sure if I'm

pronouncing it right. But yeah, modern day Morocco at the time Roman North Africa, he died

in the year 298 and his feast day is October the 30th.

Okay, wonderful. And I'm always curious, do you recall when you first discovered the saint?

I do because Marcellus, yeah, Marcellus is interred under the altar at the Basilica of the

University of Notre Dame.

So I did not know about Marcellus.
