deeper love of the Saints. So today, everybody, we are talking about St. Martin of Tours, whose feast day is on November 11th.

So, Dr. Klein, who is St. Martin of Tours?

So St. Martin of Tours was a monk and bishop. He lived in the fourth century.

His dates are roughly 316 to 397, although people debate about exactly when he was born.

But Martin is actually most famous for one single event in his life, which is the story of him giving half of his cloak to a beggar.

So we'll get to that story and we know kind of the details of the story and why it was so popular. But for listeners

who don't know who Martin of Tours is, this is your problem, because Martin of Tours is exceedingly

famous, or at least he has been in the history of the church, an exceedingly famous saint,

one of the most famous early Christian saints, his cult was very widespread. And I hope that
