I want to welcome everyone across the world to walk me to mosaic online. It's a unique moment in history and there are moments in life that that not only define us but also in many ways to refine us

We didn't expect this moment to come no one one could have predicted the COVID-19 virus.

No one can predict this moment of crisis. And yet we all know that life is filled with the unexpected life is filled with moments of incredible

joy and moments of incredible sorrow.

Moments where everything seems to be moving in our direction and times in life everything seems to be a struggle and a battle.

And wherever you are right now, I want you to know that we're praying for you, that we're

for you.

And I know there's some of you who are joining us in this moment and life may feel overwhelming to you.

You may be in a moment in your life or you're alone.

Maybe you have no family nearby or no friends that you can access in this moment. I just want to encourage you to not do

life alone, to not step into this moment and try to face it by yourself, find a way to connect to people, whether it's through email or text or

telephone or maybe it's getting a cup of coffee with a close friend.

But I just want to make sure that you remember that you are not created to do life

alone. It doesn't make you weak to need people. It makes you human to need people. But what

I want to do is I want to take a moment and read a passage of scripture and talk about some of my own frameworks when I face moments like this.

I'm in my 60s now. I faced a lot of these crises. I've had moments like this over and over again and there is a

particular posture that I take in my own life. There's a due north that always

pulls me forward and I wanted to talk about that and unwrapped it a little bit today.

Let's look together in the book of Joshua chapter 1.
