Hey everybody welcome back to coal case murder mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus coming

at you for part five of the Delphi murders.

Now in the previous episodes I talked about a symbolic rebirth narrative involving

the perpetrator in this case.

And so now we come to an interesting element that will elaborate upon those previously laid out ideas.

And that comes in the form of the shack.

At the 2019 press conference, Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter

spoke passionately about having seen a movie called The Shack,

and mentioned that there's also a book.

Not surprisingly, the Shack is about a man who undergoes a symbolic rebirth in emotional darkness, during which he meets three figures

you might very well recall from the narrative I laid out earlier, which are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit.

The protagonist in the shack encounters them each in human form.

Now you'd have to imagine the reason he undergoes this journey is

because he's emotionally stuck somewhere, trapped in a cycle due to something that

happened in the past.

Now, we learned when he was 13, he was abused by an alcoholic father

and is later unable to reconcile those horrors against a peaceful reality in his adult life because part of

him, meaning that child, still haunts his emotional life.

He must find a way to bring peace to that child within,

aka to kill it. Now we know that since this is a narrative about being stuck back in childhood that theme of staying afloat or floating, aka suspension between the universe

and the light above, meaning our rational mind and the dark the universe of the unconscious mind

and the dark mirror universe of the unconscious mind below
