Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. The Pittsburgh Steelers' top receivers in 2022 were Diontae Johnson and George Pickens. But when you look at their advanced statistics, there are a lot of good signs on how much better they can be in 2023 with a more experienced Kenny Pickett and an offense that has an identity. Pickett's success by certain routes shows a specific part of his route tree that was used more, and which routes that if he improves, could make him a much more dangerous wide receiver. Johnson's route success at getting open against both man and zone coverages ranked in the top five of all NFL wide receivers in 2022. If that continues with a better version of Pickett in 2023, that could lead to some much bigger numbers for the Steelers' offense. 1:09.0	Pickens in the locker room and played some of the clips here, but I wanted to take a step back and use some advanced statistics to look at how these guys did last year and how they could do better or worse in next year.
