So the response to last week's podcast was so positive that this week's podcast is going

to be a part two, the last week's podcast.

Last week's podcast was about the history of disco music.

It was a heart-tick.

It was about, I argued as to why disco music is the real punk rock by contextualizing the

history of disco music in 1969 with the Stonewall Rebellion and the Resistance and Civil

Rights Movement for LGBT people.

That's what last week's podcast was about.

And you fucking loved it.

Judging by the response I got on Twitter, you really enjoyed last week's podcast.

So I left, I left you off at the very, at the end of disco, 1979, moving into the

post-Disco era of the 1980s.

So I want to pick it up from 1980 this week and continue on with the incredibly interesting

history and evolution of disco music and how that as well intersects with the history of

gay civil rights and gay culture because it is pride month and why not.
