Summary

Say it with me: the only way out is through. This is one of my favorite sayings, because it serves as a reminder to me that if I want to truly process and move on from a difficult feeling, I have to actually.....feel it. So whether you struggle with "feeling your feelings," or you've just been told you're too self aware to benefit from talking about them, this episode is for you.

Hello and welcome. My name is Mary and I'm the host of Prologs, a lifestyle podcast where each episode is like a digital

journal entry detailing whatever it is I'm going through in life at the moment. I talk about my

journey with mental health, relationships, wellness, beauty, personal development, and more.

0:31.2

So join me every Monday morning for a reminder that we're all still figuring out life for the first

I want to apologize for my voice. I'm sick right now. I was trying to gaslight myself for several

0:49.6

days into thinking I wasn't sick and I pushed forward and I kept working out. I kept leaving my house,

not really in contact with people, but I kept going on walks and walking my dog, you know,

And now my body is shutting down and I have been forced to accept that I am sick.

1:12.0

So I had a three-hour recording session booked in the studio today.

1:15.3

I like to do three-hour blocks because I can record a few episodes at a time.

1:18.4

And I had to cancel my session because I just know I'm going to have to pause this recording

1:22.5

about 50 times in order to cough up a lung.

1:25.4

So I'm here.

1:26.5

I'm armed with cough syrup, lozenges, cold and flu

1:30.0

medication, my echinacea, my vitamin C, my elder flower, not elder flower, my elder berry.

1:35.6

And we are going to get through this recording together. I didn't even have a voice two days ago.

1:40.6

This could potentially ruin my voice for the next couple of days, but we move. So I'm sorry

1:46.1

if my voice sounds a little funny on this recording. I've been coughing a lot so my throat feels a bit

1:50.5

raw. We're going to get through this together, you guys, okay? Anyway, welcome back to another

1:55.1

episode of Prologs. I believe this episode is going live. When is it first week of February, I think.
