property because Twitter went nuts at you if you didn't.

I'm Christopher Hope, associate editor at the Telegraph, and this is Chopper's Politics.

It's been a somber end of the week here in Westminster.

As the roads outside the Red Lion pub are awash with sporting medals, and members of the public wearing their

poppies.

So we thought would give you a relatively reflective episode with two people who work hard

for the armed forces every day in their roles.

Later on I'll be speaking to Shadow Defence Secretary John Healy about veteran welfare

and whether labour can keep Britain safe if the party wins the election in late 2024.

But first I thought I'd ask Armed Forces Minister James Heepy to join me in my usual table in the
