So, Mike, when you're telling a story, some of the techniques that are available to you

because you don't have music or camera angles or special effects and you don't need it.

So let's take four examples.

Pace, pitch, volume, and tone, right? The faster you talk't need it. So let's take four examples. Pace, pitch, volume, and tone. The faster you talk,

the more energy you're putting into the story, you're going to want to hold on to that energy,

keep it in the bag until you need it, but there's going to be times you're going to need to push

some narrative through that story there. And you can pick up the pace, the volume comes up a little bit, tone may come up a little bit.

But then the other side of that is that there are times when the story just needs to just

slow down and breathe, and the pace goes down, and the tone goes down and and

all of a sudden you you've got

you use these techniques to to base it's not even like a string it's more like a

marionette stick

you you can you can pull the audience forward

uh... you know when you slow down and when you get quiet,

and you can push them back a little bit when you need to move the mail.

Because sometimes you've got a lot of exposition has to get out of the way before you can get to what the story is really about.
