Hello and welcome to Veslave Plans.

0:11.2

This is the podcast where we talk all things planning and planning adjacent, and I'm your host, Sarah Hart Unger.

0:16.6

Today we are going to talk a lot about summer.

0:19.6

Instead of just talking traditional summer planning, which you've probably done already

0:23.9

anyway, I'm going to really take the angle where we're going to talk about some non-traditional

0:28.5

ideas on thinking through your summer.

0:31.1

Many of them, as you can imagine, are planning related and planning adjacent.

0:35.0

1:12.9

it definitely doesn't have to fall on one person's shoulders to decide what everybody wants to do.

1:18.5

And in fact, that can be a bit of a burden. Because if you feel like this is all up to you

1:22.9

and you have to make all the magic, just like some families feel similarly about maybe the holiday

1:27.1

season, then that's a lot for one person to have to think about and for that pressure

1:32.8

to fall on them if things don't work out. So I think it's really important to have a nice

1:39.0

conversation with every single member of the household that can talk. I mean, if you've got a

1:43.6

two-year-old or one-year-old,

1:45.3

they may not have as much to add to the conversation,
