Spartans, welcome back to another episode of the Spartan Way

Vermont we got a little rain I'm feeling in my element fired up and I want to talk to you about a great book

that I've spoken about before lessons learned from the book Legacy and this lesson is

called Sweep the Shedd.

And it's about the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team,

but their philosophy of Sweep the Sheds

is essentially that nobody is above or beyond a certain job description or a certain role

that you are not too big in this part of the team to not clean up after yourself,

to not sweep the sheds, to not put the clothing away.

And it made me think about people that I've worked with,

people that I know who are the most successful. I have never heard

those people say you know what I'm the boss I don't do that or I've been on this team

for four years you do that you're You're a freshman. You're an underclassman.

The most successful people don't ever say, I'm above and beyond that. And that's the difference

between pro and amateur. That's the difference between pro and amateur. That's the difference

between a full team achieving success versus only two, three, four people on that

team being successful and everybody that team being successful,

and everybody else almost being successful.

You see, those little things keep us rooted deeply

in what built us into what we want to become or what we have become and I could think about hair stylists who I've seen on
