People in the music industry used to doubt Taylor Parks because of her age.

And that's not altogether surprising, right?

She's 26, turning 27 next week.

And yet, as a songwriter, she's already written music for the most famous and legendary singers in the world.

I'm talking about Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Janelle Monet, Alicia Keys,

Kesha, BTS, I could go on and on.

And I actually will because she's also written some of Ariana Grande's most popular hits

that includes Seven Rings, NASA, My Everything, and perhaps her biggest hit, Thank You Next.

So no, Taylor's age does not hold her back. In fact, as you'll hear, it is an asset.

You see, when she started her career,

everything she was experiencing in her life was happening for the first time.

First love, first heartbreak, first boyfriend, first girlfriend.

And she was able to bring that freshness and urgency to her music,

whether she was writing for herself or somebody else.
