The thing is that people come like even sometimes when they're well meaning

it's pointless that's the whole point of you know non-violent or non-armed struggle it doesn't work if nobody cares. Like at the end of the day it's not about

oh just appeal to the human side of the world. It's not about humanity. It's about

interest. It's about imperialism. This is not something that's like you can an ideological kind of underpinnings. Yeah exactly is not something can just like argue away like oh if the Israelis see that Palestinians are human then they'll stop bombing them. No, their lifestyle depends on Palestinians being oppressed.

Their whole community, their whole society was built on top of 600 destroyed Palestinian villages

in the 40s. You cannot convince people who've built their whole life here that, oh, if only, you know, if we talk to them, like as if it's a problem of dialogue or communication, if we only talk to them in a certain way, they'd understand that their whole society is wrong and

they'll just like make room or something. It's not how it works.

And I think it feels just kind of especially fucking egregious to me because maybe a little bit also because I lived for several years in the US most of my life in the US it feels that there are many Americans that I know who would not handle the impression that a cashier was being rude to them and that

would like infuriate them and ruin their whole fucking week.

These same people will get online and start arguing like, oh, you guys are exaggerating by saying, why is the soldier pointing a gun?

Literally today, why is this soldier pointing a gun at a four-year-old?

His finger wasn't on the trigger trigger like you guys are being really

fucking sensitive I guess and so it's like we're supposed to argue with this it's like

these people would never ever ever handle even a fraction of what

Palestinians have been asked to to handle over and over again.

They would never accept their home being demolished

because one person in the family was accused of a crime

by, you know, in the system of military courts and 97% conviction
