Greg is an activist, a veteran, an anti-imperialist, and a fantastic creator and analyst that's been on so many.

you on el jazeera i've seen a couple a couple of other uh fantastic to see that this particular

perspective is is so widespread um please introduce yourself give tell the people who you are where

they can find you yeah uh yeah okay so my name is gregg stoker i'm a former u.s army ranger

i did four combat deployments to afghanistan and the special operations community i was a

primary assault team leader then i started to branch into human intelligence collection then i got

out um after doing five years i went to columbia university where i studied anthropology international relations, because I thought I was going to go into the CIA.

That was always like my childhood dream.

But then I got like radicalized at the liberal arts school because I started reading like anti-imperious literature, like post-colonial stuff, like Oriental by edward saeed and i already got had was like

uncomfortable uh by some of the things that happened overseas that u.s forces did i was literally

in a tactical operation center uh watching the feed of them bombing that wedding convoy in

yemen uh so i was already kind of on the feed of them bombing that wedding convoy in Yemen.

So I was already kind of on the path to no longer being part of the Imperial Death Machine.

And now I'm primarily an anti-war activist.
