Another example to the inverse of the

incorrectly assessing the situation is the example of the Italian Communist Party

during the late tens of the previous century,

where there was a general strike called and essentially a massive revolutionary movement that was about to take off and it did in fact take off.

Many factories were taken over by workers, certain areas and important administrative centers were taken over by

armed militias of workers, etc.

But the Communist Party did not call for the immediate mobilization of all their forces and all the

masses that could, that did listen to them and as a result that

revolution failed and then laid the groundwork for Mussolini's bullshit and just general

fascism development in Italy this was a major major mistake and that's resulted because of an incorrect analysis of the situation.

But back to my point, Tailing behind the masses basically means that you're not where they are.

They are at a, they're more politically developed in their organization.

That is a major mistake

usually as a result of either ossification or general like reformist trends they

refuse to meet the demand for revolution or because of like ceaseless factionalism that results in basically making the group

impotent and way more infighting and focusing on and criticizing each other rather

than developing an appropriate analysis

or just plain elitism of thinking that all because you know we are party

members we understand more than the masses and therefore we need to tell them what to

think instead of the other way around. Exactly right.

On the inverse, I can, there's many more examples on this, but we can discuss that at a later point.
