0:06.0	It's TechFan 78. Hello, faithful tech fan listeners. As you can tell from the fact that Tim's not here,
0:43.1	he's not talking, he's not here. It's just me. I thought I'd record a solo show because with me
0:50.7	being on the holiday for the last couple of weeks, it was time for us to do something.
0:57.0	And Tim has some family stuff going on at the moment, which means that we can't record directly with each other.
1:04.0	Also as well, I'm, as you can probably hear from the intro, I'm in San Francisco and that is three hours earlier than Tim's time
1:13.6	and that means that if we were to record at our normal time assuming he was available
1:19.6	I'd have to be up at 4.35 o'clock in the morning which well I'd be prepared to do that for you guys
1:26.6	and with the jet lag I might be prepared to do that for you guys and with the jet lag I might be able to do
1:30.3	Tim and I decided that particularly with the fact that he's got some some family stuff to deal with that it just wasn't worth
1:37.3	it wasn't something we were able to do but I did want to record something for you and I've got a lot to talk about because I've been away for a few weeks.
1:47.0	And so I've got things to fill you in on.
1:51.0	Quite a lot of tech stuff to talk about. So, well, let's get started.
1:55.0	With me being away, I had to plan my trip. My trip involved a two-week cruise around the UK and then as
2:06.0	soon as we docked in Southampton I headed straight for London Heathrow Airport and flew out
2:11.3	here to San Francisco and it's Sunday nice at the moment here I'm starting a business
2:16.7	conference here tomorrow. It's going to take me to the end of the nice at the moment here I'm starting a business conference here tomorrow
2:18.3	it's going to take take me to the end of the week at the good old Moscone Center
2:23.9	something that Tim and I know well from the old Macworld days and so yeah that's what I'm going to be
2:33.1	doing and because I had a three-week trip effectively
