Daniel Wendell Halseth, born January 28, 1976, was the son of the late Wendell Allen Hallseth and Christine Halseth, living in Clackamas County, Oregon.

Graduating high school and gaining his bachelor's

degree in music from Western Oregon State University, Daniel was described by friends and family

as an incredibly talented musician, who, though he played a few instruments, was known fondly

as drummer Dan. Eventually securing a master's in business, Daniel found himself

head over heels in love with a young woman named Elizabeth. And on July 2nd, 2001, the pair

were married. Over the course of their 11 years together, Daniel and Elizabeth welcomed a total

of three children into their

lives. Born back to back in 2002, 2003, and 2004, there was Dana, Jordan, and Sierra

Halsef. Daniel, wanting to be a dad from a very young age was absolutely over the moon with each edition and was

described by everyone as a family man who loved his children dearly.

Life for the Hall sets seemed to be going pretty well. Not only were there the kids, but in 2006,

Daniel was offered a high-paying IT job in Las Vegas, one in which he could work from home and spend more time with his children, and making this their new home, the couple got involved in politics.
