In October of 2002, while the United States was still suffering from a major terrorist

attack, a seemingly random killing spree started in the Washington, D.C. area.

17 people were suddenly dead and families were left with little answers,

while the rest of the community carried out their daily lives

and fear of being the next random target.

John, we covered the Olympic bombing last week and I feel like this is kind of on the same scale

as far as national attention being drawn to something.

This is one of those cases, man, that I remember very vividly growing up.

I mean, I was almost an adult, if not an adult, I was very close to being an adult and I remember this being on like all the news channels it was all everybody was talking about.

What are we talking about today man?

Yeah we're gonna talk about the DC sniper which is a misnomer because there were two guys which we're going to get

into that and all the theories that people thought were happening and what

actually went down. Before that do we have anybody to thank John?
