Hey, Melissa, when you take a look at shares of Tesla, they're moving higher because generally speaking,

both the top and the bottom line, yes, they are better than expected.

That's obvious, but also the numbers within the numbers not as bad as some people may at first blush have thought.

Let's start first off with Tesla posting better than expected earnings per share of 76 cents per share.

57 cents per share was the estimate from analysts.

The revenue coming in at $8.77 billion, again better than expected.

And then there are the numbers within the numbers.
