years. And now here's Andrew. If you weren't here, I started teaching

last night on a better way to pray, not it's the only way to pray or if you're the

devil if you don't pray this way. But I started the way that Jesus

started in Matthew chapter six and he started by saying don't pray like

everybody else. Don't pray like the hypocrites because they love to pray.

And then he countered people who prayed for show,

prayed because they thought that the longer they prayed,

the better it would be.

He countered people who prayed because they

wanted to tell God what the problem was. It says God knows your needs before you

ask. It says don't use vain repetitions. That's like quoting the Lord's prayer over and over.

I remember one time that I was praying for people down in front and a person had

demons and they went to screaming and

a woman on the front row she just started going our father was

in heaven how it be thy name my kingdom come thy will be done she was just

like a machine gun just shooting this thing out thinking that somehow or another that would protect her from this demon.

That is vain repetition.

God never intended you to quote the Lord's prayer.
