I think the biggest thing was I had to own my role in the relationship, right? I had to own

where my faults were and really start to figure out a way to grow myself and love myself first, you know, and then that was going to trickle into my marriage.

But really taking ownership over my role that I played in the state of our marriage.

So I told you guys I was going to have Chase share his perspective on what

saved our marriage. So you're going to hear directly from Chase exactly what saved us.

So I think we hit a big catalyst under marriage where it was like we need to figure this out or we're calling it quits, right?

And one thing, we got help help which was I think a big help in in catalysts and in shift in the way that I thought specifically in in regards to our marriage was like I needed to feel like I wasn't stuck in this

relationship in that I had to look at my life without you you know did I want

that for my life and I didn't I didn't want a life without you I didn't want a life of

Having to figure out custody situations and all that kind of stuff. So once I figured out that I didn't want that for my life and then my coach at that time

basically positioned it as like you need to get to the point where you're

choosing Kayla right every day that I wake, I'm not stuck in this relationship.

Yes, we made a covenant before God and I want to make sure that, you know, we're honoring to that,

but at the end of the day I'm choosing you and waking up every day to go I choose

Kala was a huge catalyst shift in my mind in my life of like whatever issues that I

have whatever complaints that I have whatever resentment and all that kind of stuff, I'm choosing her.

So I need to figure out how to shed all that crap and even if I have those thoughts, make them a short thought of like, okay, yep, I'm feeling this way, but

bro, you're choosing her, you know, and like, how do I shift that mindset of like okay I'm I'm feeling a thought of

resentment for whatever reason or I'm feeling a thought of whatever and shifting

that very quickly on its head to go yes but I'm choosing her and I'm going to figure out how I can love her well and make this work.
