Biden Harris, 2020 is the Banner headline of the week.

It's like, it feel like it's a headline of the summer, not just a headline of the week.

We've been waiting on this announcement for

what feels like an eternity and it feels like the first time in this entire cycle where we have

real campaign news it's not just two guys locked away in their towers. We have actual news and it's

historic news. I have to say I felt something this week and that feels rare these days and we're all sort of numb to the state of the world.

But I kept thinking and you must feel this way as the father of girls, but I think the father and mother of everybody who has

who has children who are watching this moment must feel something in some way

but this is a moment where I felt proud to be witnessing progress and yes that progress is late and delayed and it's crazy that this would even be progress but it is and it's exciting to watch a moment in history whether or not you agree

with the pick and there are definitely people who don't you and I were just

talking offline about our frustrations within the Democratic Party.

But it just feels like a moment,

and I'm happy that we got to talk about it together

and collectively as a nation, it feels like progress.
