So I worked with a woman one time who on the way to work, she said that her car underneath the hood was making some weird noises in her car. And so she didn't know what to do. She was kind of panicking. So she just turned up her radio. Because she didn't want to deal with it. And I laughed just like you left. But then I thought to myself, how many times do we do that? Oh, yeah. Like something is rattling underneath the hood of our soul.

Instead of pausing and saying, what is that?

What's going on?

Why am I feeling this way?

We just turn up the radio.

And the radio station for us can be a million different things.

I'll work harder.

I'll get more hours at work.

I'll turn on the TV or the news or social media. I will drown this noise out in some way.
