Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of the Catholic talk show.

Today we're going to be talking about ways to improve your faith life by

understanding the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. That's right. We're looking at the

gifts of the Holy Spirit in Scripture and in church teaching and how to apply

them in your life. Perfect way to start this show, fellas.

Come Holy Spirit. I'm going to All right guys this is the gifts of the Holy Spirit conveyed upon us in their totality these gifts during our confirmation, which we'll talk about a little bit later when my kids going in for confirmation this year too as well so it'll be a good conversation.

You know I've got to admit out of everything in the Catholic faith I think that I have been most neglectful in my understanding of the Holy Spirit.

It's the one that's the hardest for me to understand of everything in the faith is the Holy

Spirit.

And it's something in an area that I've always wanted to work on spiritually.

And I think this episode is a good way to do that, but like the Holy Spirit to me so mysterious.

You know, I can understand the concept of God the Father and God the Son I can understand that but the Holy Spirit as the third person the Trinity I sometimes don't worship enough as fully God and the gifts that the Holy Spirit specifically gives. I understand the crucifixion, I understand the creation, but then the consoler, the one who's still with us, the one giving these gifts, God, the spirit.

The advocate is something that I think is lost on me a lot of times and I can only imagine on a lot of other people too in the same sense and then and then God by way of his

and but you know, I was ordained on the Feast of Pentecost, the solemnity of Pentecost and just the gifts of the spirit as a

charismatic too, just being in the charismatic movement for many years, 20 years now or so just being open to the gifts of the spirit. And you know like most definitely the Lord pulls this together many different carisms and that's the beauty of the universality of the church and and you know the carism of study and intellect and and really exploring intellectually by way of revelation, she'll like you have that in spades.

And I think, you know, when you look at the different carisms that the three of us have, you know,
