1:05.0	I know it's maybe overstated but it's true that we do come from Kings and Queens. We come from a great place. We have a great lineage and we have to live up to that.

1:19.2	the cradle of all civilization, the richest place on earth. I'm talking of course about Africa.
1:28.2	European culture plundered Africa and the rewriting of African history, has been an attempt to justify the pillage and

1:38.2	After centuries of extractive colonial rule, the project has been to portray the entire African continent as poverty-stricken,
1:45.3	diseased, and incapable of self-rule. I don't know about you, but I've had it with the way black history is taught. It's like
1:54.5	there's slavery then there's a civil rights era and then Obama and that's it. But a
2:00.5	wise man told me that if we start our history with slavery, the best we can aspire to be as better slaves, but our roots are much deeper than that.
