Joseph Campbell said something like the job of the artist is to mythologize the present for future generations.

The battleground is in the human imagination, which means art is the front lines in a lot of ways.

Some of the funky things going on with AI now just turns things upside down.

I mean, photography isn't as much of a truth-sayer as it once was,

but there's some artists doing some really smart work out there. I like to think of self-development

in that way. It's like, you're not this static structure, right? People will say things, like,

oh, that's just the way I am. It's like, whoa, whoa, whoa. We're born into a finite period of time, right?

We don't know how long.

For me, time is the most precious commodity.
