Commitment truly means something different to everyone.

It meant way different things to me when I first got engaged 10 years ago, and frankly, it has

changed every single year since.

Doing this show has changed me, and it's also changed the way that I think about love,

marriage, and commitment.

And because I've gotten the chance to hear

from so many different kinds of couples about so many different kinds of love, I look at the

world a little bit differently now. Some of my favorite couples never thought that they'd be

interviewed on a podcast that gets broadcast around the world. They were the kinds of people that

never sought the spotlight. And others have lived their

entire relationships inside the spotlight. Today we're bringing you some of the highlights from

our favorite celebrity interviews. We've been lucky enough to be invited inside the homes of some of the

biggest stars of the stage and of the big and small screens.

And if I've learned anything from them, it's that Committed is hard and complicated and

also beautiful and wonderful, no matter how famous you are. One of my favorite bits of an interview ever was hearing Phil Donahue and Marlowe Thomas described their meet-cute after Marlowe appeared on Phil's show.

Until she met Phil, Marlowe actually thought she didn't want to get married.

But Phil is a very patient man.

The two of them also gave me some of my favorite marriage advice of all time.

Well, you know, I was certainly attracted to her.

I mean, if you're Catholic, you'll understand that she was an impure thought.

And I did call you.
