I feel like a lot of people from our generation have so many fond memories of playing video games when they were a kid because for myself, I started playing at the age of five years old PlayStation 2.

Oh, for sure.

And, you know, with every year you move on from a console to another.

You have different memories playing with different friends, playing with people in the same room, playing online.

And at the end of the day, I feel like not everyone realizes that video games actually helped the music industry thrive in so many ways, because if you

really do look at it, so many people have discovered their favorite bands or rappers through

the music that you could find within soundtracks. And that's exactly what we wanted to

cover in today's episode is talking about

the best songs that we found in video games so we didn't actually include any scores but i do want to

shut out the scores of a game for example like the last of us or also uh... double seven nightfire

which i played a lot on my old playstation twoibur 4 was a big one for myself as well.

I was going back through the old MP3 files. Imagine that, like they uploaded the MP3 files on a

random website, then I was going back and listening to them and the soundtracks were just so sick

to go through. But yeah, continue. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah. At the end of the day, it's just, there's so much quality that's come from these games. The way that there's quality that comes out of film and so many other

forms of entertainment, and I love just that intersection of playing a video game and also

getting the music to accompany it. It's a beautiful thing. But before we actually get started
