Hey, it's great to be here. Thanks for having me on.

I appreciate it. All right. You open with a personal reflection before getting to your profiles,

particularly on the experience of being overlooked. What does that do to a person, maybe especially

a young person? Yeah, I think it's probably

one of the greatest pains that we go through in life is when we feel like we walk into a room and

no one notices us or people who seem in the past to have loved us, but who walk away or we

feel invisible, it's just a difficult thing that I think 100% of humanity has

walked through. And so I wanted to write a book about some of the women in the Bible who may have

felt that way and what we can learn from their stories. The Bible you say is, quote,

peopled with people, just like us. Before getting to those individuals that you profile,

tell us how you chose the dozen for, well, there's more than a dozen, but for the book.

What was your principle of selection? Well, I went about that. One of the practices I've been doing in the past couple

years is I'm rapid reading the Bible a couple times a year in two to three month increments.

So I'll read the Bible super fast. And so the last time I went through it, I was thinking with

overlooked in mind and was able to ask the question, which of these women that I'm

encountering would have that story. And so that's basically how I read the whole Bible. And then

I highlighted, yeah, you're right. There's more than 10. There's 10 groupings of women in there.
