Hey there, this week's episode I'm going to start with a quote, which I don't normally do. I don't know if I've ever done,

but it struck me this week and it was appropriate for today's topic.

It's a quote from Socrates, shocking, right?

True wisdom comes to each of us

when we realize how little we understand

about life, ourselves, and the world around us.

And that's exactly how I feel this week as we jump into WTF has happened

since January 6th here in the U.S.

So really the only way I see us moving forward as a more

unified country and really a global community is to realize that we don't have all the answers, but that we have to understand each other.

We have to understand the other humans around us with compassionate conversations and not social cancellation.

So today we are going to talk about the capital insurrection, the next steps in the remaining days of the Trump presidency and speech and social media.

It's a lot, it's heavy, but this is the place where the law nerds have compassionate conversation

and someone needs to be having real conversations.

So let's get into it.
