back to Campbell County Tennessee and that is where we're going to spend our time on today's episode.

It starts on a cold December night, December 15, 1998, in a town called Jellico, Tennessee and the highway I-75 runs right through Jellico but

there's also a side road you can take to go south called 25 W and on December 15th 1998 around 9 o'clock at night

authorities are called out to a scene on 25 where witnesses say there was a

car on fire. So when they arrive they find a car 30 feet down a steep

cliff and it's in 1993 Ford Tempo and when they get to the scene it is fully engulfed.

They said later that the car was so badly burned,

they were not able to identify the license plate

and actually melted some of the plastic off so they only had four

letters to go by and police on the scene actually found human remains in the car

so whoever was driving did not make it out. It took him a little time to do some research

and figure out exactly who this car belonged to, but authorities were able to match the car
