Hey, what's up everybody? This is Andrew DeCechko Daily, and we are continuing with part two of my assessment of the Eagles day three picks, telling you more about how they might fit into the equation and yesterday we spent a lot of time talking about the offensive players and I outlined which ones to me well I talked about all of them but I outlined a couple of specifically that really stood out for different reasons.

And today we're going to go through the defensive prospects, and that starts with round 4, 111th overall, and that is Ty Robinson, the defensive tackle from Nebraska.

Now, Robinson is an alignment versatile lineman who plays a physical,

violent brand of football. He's sure to endear himself quickly to the Philadelphia fan base.

He plays with his hair on fire, violent hands. At 6 foot 5, 288 pounds, he's a disruptor.

He started five seasons for the Cornhuskers, compiling 134 tackles,

26 and a half for loss, 12 sacks, and 12 passes defended. He also, for two seasons, earned

the right to wear a single-digit jersey number, which head coach Matt Rule, formerly of

Temple, reserves for his only his toughest players,l, formerly of Temple, reserves for only his toughest players.

Robinson, who's 24, can hold his own at the point of attack, and he plays with urgency.

In a mild surprise, the Eagles did not add to the room on day two, but they landed solid value in Robinson,

who, as a rookie projects to be an effective

situational player, rotating with teammates Jordan Davis and Morrow Ojamal.

In round 5, 145th overall, the Eagles select UCF cornerback Mack McWilliams.

Now, McWilliams is 5'10, 191 pounds.

He started all 11 games in his lone season at Central Florida.

He had 32 tackles, 6 for loss, three passes defended, a sack, and an interception.

He spent his first four seasons at UAB, and while he has slight arm length, that's just shy of 30 inches, which is really short for an outside corner, half the pro level.

That leaves much to be desired, but it's worth noting that he did play on the outside last season, but Nick Williams also clocked a blistering 4-4-140-yard dashed NFL scouting

combine.

That really jives with what the Eagles look for in terms of their RAS, their relative

athletic score.
