Hi folks, Andrew DeCechko here for this Monday edition of the Checo Daily. And today I'm going to start to unveil some of my big boards for positions of need for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Some of these have been made public already.

I mentioned it on my pre-draft show last week on 975 The Fanatic,

but I want to talk a little bit more about that and then also tell you what's the come here because today I'll be doing safeties, tomorrow I'll be doing

tight ends, and then Wednesday I'll be doing defensive tackles, and then throughout the week

I'll also be doing edge rushers, linebackers, and cornerbacks, as it ranks for me to count

down from five to one, and then I also mention a couple of players

who also were, you know, maybe just fell outside my top five, so you can keep an eye on them as well.

But number five for safety, and to kind of go back here, safety is a position of need for the Eagles,

because the Eagles shipped safety, CJ Gardner Johnson to the Texans and right now Reeb Blankenship is projected to start

alongside I don't know Sidney Brown we'll have to wait and see I think they're

going to give Sidney Brown every chance to win that role but it also would serve the Eagles

well to continue to add to the room.

So that being said, and without further ado, my big board.

So coming at number five, Oklahoma Safety Billy Bowman Jr.

Now, Billy Bowman Jr. is 510, 192 pounds, so he may not have the size that you're looking for, but 11 interceptions in his career for the Sooners. Four defensive touchdowns over the past two seasons, he returned three

interceptions and returned a fumble for a touchdown. I like personally that he was a four-year

starter at a major college program. So he's played against the upper echelon competition.

He does leave a little bit to be desired as a tackler,

but you talk about the high-level instincts, the football IQ,

and all of those qualities, that versatility,

the alignment versatility translates very favorably to a Vic Fangio defense.
